Widening accessibility with virtual networking events

By Paul Scholey, Senior VP International and GM, BlueJeans by Verizon

As restrictions ease over the summer, I’m certainly eager to get back into live events and networking. This past year, however, many events managers learned a valuable lesson: for some people virtual is the best - or only - option.

What if we treated Hybrid audiences more like football fans??

Hybrid has got the events industry a bit ruffled. It should be a nirvana event solution providing the best of both worlds, with the opportunity to tap into a far wider audience, but what we’re hearing from event organisers is that the combo of live and virtual has presented its own unique challenges.

Crystal Interactive partners with Blendology

Crystal Interactive, audience engagement specialists for live-events, are delighted to announce its partnership with Blendology’s smart wearable badging solution, adding to its portfolio of in-person solutions.

Blendology’s smart wearable allows attendees to network with just a tap of a badge. The OneTap badges have powered over 450 events across 40 countries catering for nearly 100,000 people. The OneTap badges at a 400-person event can save nearly 80kg of plastic and business cards.
